I have a NETGATE 3100, and it drops connection when downloading large files.

Here is what I am trying to download:

      https://dev.azure.com/KhaineUK/_git/DarknessFallsA20

It gets about 4-5GB downloaded, and connection drops. The 3100 has been factory reset, and using it straight out of the box. I took the firewall out of the network, and downloading the files from above work without any issue.

Do you see anything logged when this happens?

Is it only that one connection that drops?

What pfSense version are you running?

        Any packages installed?

        Steve

@stephenw10 The only error that I see is on the client side, where the download has been interrupted. I dont see any errors in the NetGate logs, any place I should look?

Strange, I hooked up the NetGate, and tried to download the file again, to see exactly what the error was, and it worked.

Mmm, odd. I know of nothing that would do that without a deliberate config to make it do it. Like using Squid with ClamAV perhaps. But the 2GB RAM in the 3100 would restrict that.
