I've been loosing internet access 2-3 times per day. In checking my pfsense router (1.2.2) I noticed the following entries in my system log and I am wondering if they explain my intermittent internet access:

Aug 13 03:35:22 kernel: interrupt storm detected on "irq12:"; throttling interrupt source
Aug 13 03:35:22 kernel: em0: link state changed to DOWN
Aug 13 03:35:23 kernel: interrupt storm detected on "irq12:"; throttling interrupt source

Assuming that em0 is using irq12 (I am really not sure how to confirm that) - that would be my WAN link which is 100Mbs I'm not sure on the manufacturor or model number. I'd have to crack the case to check. I've done some googling and found other people with "interrupt storms" but so far haven't found anyone that seems to know how to fix it.

Has anyone else experienced this problem or know if it would cause intermittent outages?

      Thanks,
      Brad
