      Hello team!

      Currently we have the following version in a pfsense:
      2.4.3-RELEASE (amd64)
      built on Mon Mar 26 18:02:04 CDT 2018

      We have only one "Gateway Group" for load balancing.

      In this version, in "System -> Routing" (In the web interface), there isn't a "Default Gateway" section (like in newer versions), then I have the following questions:

      • Which is the default gateway for rules with "*" as gateway?
      • How can I change the default route in the routing table?
      • What happens if I have rules for both, Internal and external destinations, if I force to use the Gateway Group (Wich does not have included any other internal interface)?

      Thanks in advance.
      Regards,
      Damián

        @damianhl
        There's checkbox when you edit the gateway to set it as default. It will then show (default) after the gateway name. Rules with * as the gateway will use the default route. Diagnostics, route will show you the default route. Selecting another gateway group for a rule will policy route that traffic using the selected gateway, bypassing the routing table.
        EDIT: Here's the obligatory plea for you to update to a supported version of pfSense.
