The Tailscale package is now available for installation from the pfSense software package manager! For more details, see the latest blog post and video from Netgate software developer Christian McDonald!

This will be a very nice addition, I will be keen to try it out when I next get back to my pfSense machine.
Just curious why Netgate chose to implement Tailscale rather than ZeroTier....

Are there any plans to update and maintain this package? There are lot of bugs in tailscale that have since been fixed such as pfSense not working as an exit node.

I'd be happy to see it updated too.. but pfSense as an exit node has actually been working OK for me. Apologies, I was confusing exit node with subnet router.....

It's always interesting to see new software packages being added to the lineup. Tailscale is an excellent tool and will become a popular addition to pfSense. If you are interested in custom software programming services, plenty of developers can help you. Make sure you research and find someone with the right skills and experience for your project. Thanks again for sharing the news, as it was beneficial to me. Hearing other updates or exciting findings in the software field is always interesting.
