Just installed and the first restore-problem
-
Hi there,
I changed from IPfire to pfsense now and I have tried to rescue over 400 entries of my dhcp-server.
So I added two clients to the pfsense dhcp-server and made a backup. Then I edited the xml-file and inserted the original clients like the two clients was in this xml.
I checked the xml file online. After removing the few mistakes I tried to restore my dhcp-backup and pfsense said "all fine".
But there is no entry of my clients.
Example:
[...] <staticmap> <mac>BC:E9:2F:DD:5F:18</mac> <cid>VSK-Notebook 5 </cid> <ipaddr>192.168.6.14</ipaddr> <descr></descr> <filename></filename> <rootpath></rootpath> <defaultleasetime></defaultleasetime> <maxleasetime></maxleasetime> <gateway></gateway> <domain></domain> <domainsearchlist></domainsearchlist> <ddnsdomain></ddnsdomain> <ddnsdomainprimary></ddnsdomainprimary> <ddnsdomainsecondary></ddnsdomainsecondary> <ddnsdomainkeyname></ddnsdomainkeyname> <ddnsdomainkeyalgorithm>hmac-md5</ddnsdomainkeyalgorithm> <ddnsdomainkey></ddnsdomainkey> <tftp></tftp> <ldap></ldap> <nextserver></nextserver> <filename32></filename32> <filename64></filename64> <filename32arm></filename32arm> <filename64arm></filename64arm> <uefihttpboot></uefihttpboot> <numberoptions></numberoptions> </staticmap> [...]
What went wrong? O.O Is there another way to restore them without sitting hours at the console and to enter them manually?
Thanx and greets,
Denise
