What version are you running? You should run a RC2e and what problem do you encounter with the traffic shaper wizard?

i get this message when i try to run Traffic Shaper Wizard
"Either your LAN or WAN interface doesn't support ALTQ. The wizard cannot continue" i think my nvidia nic is the problem..any ideas?

That means the driver doesn't support trafficshaping. You have to use another nic that supports altq (see http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php/topic,1686.msg9789.html#msg9789 for supported drivers/cards).
