      Hi

Latest days i'm experiencing more more slow loading while i'm browsing (youtube, google,...). I see this in the System logs:

      b3c65d37-175c-4eaa-9126-9a255b4f19a2-image.png

Is this telling me that my ISP is having troubles? If i'm going back in time i see that it started 2 months ago sporadically, but now it is just happening more and more.
My config did not changed during that time, the only thing i did setup was DNSBL but due to testing i turned it back off.

      Kind regards

@koenh What's your gateway monitoring IP? You covered it up. That's not YOUR ip but, if not set, it is the next hop up. Try monitoring something else like 8.8.8.8 and see if that improves your gateway uptime and, thus, your gateway reliability.

        System->Routing->Edit Gateway->Monitoring IP. Save.

            EDIT:
            Stil seeing packetloss:

            Google 8.8.8.8: Alarm latency 16878us stddev 5301us loss 21%

Even in my Status Gateway i can see packetloss.

Do you see errors in Status > Interfaces at WAN?

The issue could indicate a dying hardware, possibly a defect cable or ISP modem / router.

              What's your internet connection?
Is there a high throughput, when dpinger alarm is logged?

This indicates that somewhere between the pfSense WAN interface, and what ever monitoring ip you are using, has some ugly packetloss.

I would shift the monitoring ip back to "default" ... (the DHCP delivered default gateway) , and maybe change the network cable between the pfSense & the ISP Box.
Your pfSense Wan IF is connected directly to the ISP box, correct ??

Maybe i'd power off/on the ISP Box, just to make a "fresh start" ...

If it continues with packet loss between pfSense Wan and the ISP default gateway , i'd contact the ISP and explain the issue.

Edit: V'man beat me to it 😊
