The L2TP server just doesn't seem to be supported by CARP.

When setting up an L2TP server, I can't select the interface for the CARP WAN; I can only choose physical interfaces in the interface pulldown.

Looking at the High Availability page, L2TP doesn't appear in the list of options to sync.

I can manually edit /var/etc/l2tp-vpn/mpd.conf to listen on the CARP WAN interface but if I stop/start the L2TP server via the GUI it gets overwritten and the user settings are not automatically copied to the slave box anyway.

This means that if there is a CARP failover I lose all of my L2TP vpn connections.

Do I just have to live with this or is there a fix?
