    Gateway name changing?

      If I go into "Interfaces" and change the name of one of my OpenVPN gateways, is the system smart enough to change it in all the places its used? Seems like there are many references to the name, I want to give them a more appropriate name, but I'm hesitant

        @larrym04 Been a while but I don't think you will be allowed to change the name. Pretty sure you'll have to delete it and recreate. But I've been wrong before. 😊

          Generally you cannot simply rename a gateway and the gui will prevent you doing so.

          But here the OpenVPN gateway is dynamic and automatically created. If you rename the interface (which is allowed) the gateway will follow it. I wouldn't expect an issue there.

            @stephenw10 Excellent! When the system was first set up I asked tech support to name them according to the VPN's server name, not realizing the provider occasionally changes their names
