      Hello community!

I have an issue with reporting my Netgate 1100 (pfsense 22.05) public IPv6 address to dynv6.com.

The WAN interface is connected to a FritzBox 7490 and has 3 IPv6 addresses:

      • fe80 - link local address
      • fd00 - ULA address for internal usage
      • 2a00 - public ip address

This is just fine from an IP point of view. All address are working as expected.

The problem is that the "fd00" address is reported to dynv6.com instead of the "2a00" public address. Is there a way to report the public IPv6 to dynv6? Configuration is done in "Settings" > "Dynamic DNS".

I am feeling a little lost here - anyone out there with some enlightment for me? :-)

      Best wishes
      Stefan

@stsc_srzc_de Try the "RFC 2136 Clients". Also you could disable ULA in Fritzbox.
