Multi-Wan Round Robin load balancing
-
Okay so I have 2 Wan connections from the same company routed over the same route outbound. Is it possible to achieve download speed doubling similar to how the DI-LB604 does by load balancing the outgoing traffic packet by packet across the two interfaces by first establishing sessions then splitting packet by packet.
If you think it can't be done, maybe I can post packet captures from Lan and both wans of the Dlink DI-LB604 and we can work through a solution together
How would this be achieved on pf sense?
I do not want to keep using the Dlink DI-LB604 because it is very old and last updated firmware in 2006 meaning it's totally insecure today.

Forget it. I will make a package to properly manage it.

I totally ditched this solution. Multi-wan load balancing works to poorly on freebsd with and fights you every step of the way.
I moved to a Cisco L3+ switch with enterprise services and gigamon and a specialized load balancing solution. EOL is around the corner in a few years on my cisco switch so I am looking to upgrade now.
