      Hi,

Can someone help me how to access our Netgate pfsense GUI web admin without resetting our firewall configuration? Because I forgot the username as well as the password, that's why I cannot access it.

I'm quite sure i was able to change admin pass via the serial console.
Provided you have enabled it , and didn't pass protect the serial console

            Hi @gertjan ,

If I do this (connect the console) and reset the password, do you think all the configurations in our firewall rule will not be affected or deleted? Because we don't want to reset our firewall and delete all the configuration just to access the admin GUI.

              That :

Menu option 4 : Reset to factory defaults

              What you want is :

Menu option 3 : Reset webConfigurator password
