I upgraded from CE 2.60 to 22.05 yesterday, and since then I have had some connectivity issues to certain services/sites on certain devices. For Example, Disney Plus fails to load on my SmartTV or phone, but loads fine in browser. Amazon Music fails to load on phone, but loads fine in browser and SmartSpeaker. WeatherUnderground will not load in app on my Smarphone, but loads fine in browser.

Interestingly enough, I had this same issue when I upgraded to 2.60: https://www.reddit.com/r/PFSENSE/comments/sv7pv3/weird_connection_issues_since_260_update/

The issue there was a missing realtek driver...

      https://forum.netgate.com/topic/169896/updated-realtek-nic-drivers-missing-in-pfsense-2-6-0/3

Which I tried redownloading and reinstalling, but did not help. I also tried different combinations of "Disable hardware checksum offload" and "Disable hardware TCP segmentation offload", also to no avail.

When I run PCAP on my TV, I get a bunch of tcp dup ack (errors?). I am not sure if this is the cause, but it makes sense with what I see in wireshark.

If anyone can offer any assistance it would be so greatly appreciated.

@chris5h It's not DNS? There have been threads about DNS problems on 22.05, though I haven't seen that.

Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.

Thank you for the reply. I do not think it is DNS, as name seems to resolve. There are a lot of tcp dup ack errors, but I am not sure exactly what those mean.

We can't see what that DUP is of. That can imply the TV never sees something the remote server is sending.

Can you pcap on the TV and pfSense WAN simultaneously and compare them?
That should show you what is lost.

              Hey everyone,

I was able to fix this. I wiped it, and a with a squeaky clean version of 22.05 and starting everything from scratch, all is working as it did on 2.60. Not sure what the original culprit was, but my config is not complex enough that it was nothing that took more than a single episode of She Hulk to rebuild.

              Thanks everyone for the assistance.
