WAN failover to cellular hot spot
-
Greetings, everyone....
I have a wired (DOCSIS 3.1) cable internet connection with my local ISP. Intermittently, my connectivity drops, due to the faulty Intel Puma 6 chipset in my cable modem (power cycling the Arris Cable Modem resolves this issue, but is annoying and inconvenient).
Is there a way to set up a dual WAN connection with automatic failover, by adding a wireless card to my pfSense router, which can connect to my mobile phone's 5G unlimited data hotspot?
Additionally, can the WAN configuration be set to switch back to the wired connection AUTOMATICALLY after the cable modem is reset?
Thank you in advance for taking the time to read this.
