I hope this question makes sense......

At work, we are migrating to Meraki for many offices.. One reason is the unified cloud management where there is one login and the ability to manage all meraki firewalls regardless of geographical location.
I have been managing our PfSense firewalls remote via external port (https://mydomain:1234), logging into each local fireall.
So,,, my question is..... can PfSense do the same unified cloud management for all Pfsense appliances as Meraki does? I really want to continue using PfSense, but am being outvoted due to Meraki's "one-login" mgt (despite the huge disjoint in cost)

      Thanks for any input!

My condolences to you, you will greatly miss pFsense.

We use meraki for work and while the dashboard is great there's a lot of features missing that you come to rely on pfsense.

I agree! So you are saying that PfSense does not have a unified control panel via cloud?
Does anyone know if PfSense/Netgate is considering such a thing?
Many of our offices have WAN/Public DHCP address, so I cannot even use a subdomain address, and the company will not authorize cost of static IP's for all the remote offices (mainly 1-2 staff per location and a number using hotspots / cell phones for internet).
I am a great fan of PfSense. It is such a versatile / robust platform. I'm just not able to get past the 'corporate meraki' mindset from mgt.
Thanks to all responding with suggestions.

It's something we have been working toward for.... years. It's an often requested feature.

There are some 3rd party solutions for this issue but we don't endorse any of them at this time.

@stephenw10 Thanks for the info! I am hoping you can provide a cloud-based control panel at some point. Am now looking at using the Dynamic DNS function for each PfSense appliance as we have GoDaddy for Registrar and it will not cost me to try it. I'm thinking it will probably construed as 'too clunky', but I'm hoping it will be received as a 'usable' option for my small offices.

Thanks again to all who provided input!!
