@northstardefenseil said in How can I install Pfsense in my router:
https://www.some-site-that-seems-to-sell-a-big-iron-cisco-device.com/cisco-isr4331-k9-3-ports-router/
Can't see any processor specs, or anything else.
I can see the brand, though .... and I ask myself : do these guys really make "PC compatible" devices ??If it has an USB port
If it has a serial connection
If you could have it boot from the USB ... meanining some Intel rpcoessor is in there ...
If the build in disk can be partitioned
If the FreeBSD OS finally boots
And if it recognizes the hardware like NICs etc
Then you might have a chance.So why wait ? Building a boot USB drive takes 1 minute .... so you tell us.

@gertjan this seems like spam - another 1 post wonder from the same "spam" country with links to the same website..
I have removed that link, because they most likely are just link farming..

@johnpoz
Ok, I edited the link I was using in my post as something harmless. -
@gertjan thanks! yeah seems this "spam" country thinks this is a good site to link farm..
To the question asked - No your not going to install pfsense on a cisco router ;) hehehe
edit: We should prob just black hole that whole country.. I don't recall ever seeing anything but spam from that country, that country and their neighbor have a thriving spam economy.. But your not going to do it here, not on my watch ;) hehehe
But will give them the benefit of the doubt.. Since at least it is in the appropriate section for such a nonsense sort of question..
