Need help with manual mount specs
-
pfSense 2.6 won't boot after power failure and drops into mountroot> prompt. What to do?
-
Do you have any BE snapshots you can try rolling back to at the loader prompt?
Otherwise the most common reason I've seen that on a ZFS install is that the required zfs modules are not being loaded.
At the the loader prompt (not the mountroot prompt) try running:load /boot/kernel/kernel load /boot/kernel/opensolaris.ko load /boot/kernel/zfs.ko boot

Thank you for your help with my pfSense boot error 95.Not sure how to get to loader prompt. My recovery strategy is to re-install and reconfigure WAN, LAN and OpenVPN.
Will keep working on this problem as a learning exercise.

Reinstaling and restoring your config will probably be quickest and safest.
