I use Pfsense 2.5.2 with a fiber pppoe connection.
My problem is after a reboot i have to "connect wan" on the interface page by hand.

It doesnt make a difference if i turn dial-on-demand on/off.

Any ideas how to make the pppoe start automatically?

Side note: I have tried to upgrade to 2.6. But this gave me another problem (which when i search is something that happens to quit of few people), the upload was almost totally gone. The upload didnt get any higher than 0,10 Mbps.

The weird thing is, using the same connection on Pfsense 2.5.2 on Hyper-V 2019 instead of ESX 7 does auto dial the PPPoE. Could of course be a coincidence.
