DHCP relay from WAN interface
-
I’m testlabing ready for the change although I have hit a bit of a wall.
I am looking to use pfsense as an internal routing device. All routing works fine and any static IP used is also fine.our main network is 10.0.X.X (WAN Interface)
and this testlab is 172.16.X.X (LAN Interface)
I have a number of vLANs setup on the LAN and passed these to untagged ports for testing.
Again, static assignment, all is good.I have disabled the firewall for testing and still nothing. I’ve enabled DHCP relay and set our dhcp server (10.0.98.101) as the destination server.
My thinking is that the DHCP server is on the WAN interface, trying to provide to the LAN interface is the issue for some reason.
