Does any one know when the PfSense book is coming out?
      I really need it….........

If any of the writers are reading this, I was wondering if the beta version of the book could be released?
I really need help with my pfSense router.

I'm one of the writers, and it's getting really close to being done. There are a relatively small number of touch-ups and additions that need completing, most all of the major content is there.

The book will be released in print form, and I believe a PDF version may be available as part of a support bundle/contract, but not on its own.

In the meantime, the doc wiki has quite a bit of good content, or you could ask your questions in a new thread here on the forums.

No, not free. It will be available through retail channels such as Amazon.

There is a whole chapter on OpenVPN, and probably a few tricks in there people may not be familiar with.

The book is free to anyone who purchases a commercial support contract.  The pre-release versions I've seen of it are really very good.

                I wouldn't call that free, I'd call that included-with-purchase ;-)

Don't quote me on this because it's still up in the air, but looks like it might be somewhere in the neighborhood of $35.

It will be on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and not sure where else. It's currently English-only, not sure if there are any plans to translate it.

                                  No, 1.2.3

2.0 is still in alpha stages, though there will likely be another revision of the book whenever that is released.
