Anyone else happen to experience this same issue?

    • Take a backup from existing/working firewall

    • Restore backup to replacement

    • During package re-install cycle, an error keeps occuring that 'named' no longer exists (don't recall the exact error message, but net result is that BIND is not re-installed)

To make sure that this wasn't a one-off issue, tried running through the above a couple times and every time - BIND does not get reinstalled. Seems like something had a name change and as a result, the package manager cannot find the right "name" for the package to reinstall it. This only seems to occur during the package re-install cycle when restoring a firewall from backup.

    Thanks!
