Disable debugging options in Pfsense 2.7/FBSD 14.0

How can one go about temporarily disabling debugging options in the kernel for the 2.7 snapshots that have 14.0? Freebsd writes on how to do this in CURRENT but the file required does not exist in 2.7 snapshots? Any insight would be appreciated as this would allow direct performance comparisons with PFsense 2.6. as 2.7 dev progresses.
