Hi, my pfSense is not being able to check for newer firmware versions, also having issues to update or install any package via Package Manager. Typical error is: "pfSense-pkg-openvpn-client-export reinstallation failed!".

It's using Google DNS as fallback. pfSense is the DNS provider for all clients on my network and they can navigate on the internet just fine so I don't think it's a DNS issue.

What else could it be? It used to work just fine.

      Thanks,
      Fabio

I realized that logs were showing errors for full file system. I checked and realized that there is a file consuming all the space:
        16372377-c006-4a81-8999-33380b93a4b1-image.png

Do you know what this file under ufsid is and can I delete it?
        Thanks

This is your root filesystem, you cannot delete it.

Obviously somewhat is eating up your disk space. Find out what it is.
Often the reason is a large log file of squid or pfBlockerNG if enabled logging.

Run "du -h" to display the directories disk usage.

@viragomann thanks indeed lots of logs on /usr/local/. Deleted them and now everything works again. Thanks.
