      Hi,

Want to run all dhcp services on pfsense but not have to route all internal traffic through pfsense to reduce it's load, therefore using an internal L3 Switch to do all the IPv4 routing.

It seems however that there's no way for pfsense to have scopes for which it doesn't have an active vlan interface.

Is there a way around this so that pfsense can still manage all the DHCP Scopes for the internal vlans and have the L3 switch dhcp-relay pointing to the pfsense box?

      Thanks

@timeslice I'd pay to have this feature implemented. I have a similar setup like yours and I ended up configuring DHCP on my L3 switch.
