      Hi everyone,

I setup a dual WAN failover in a virtual environment (VMware Workstation).
      Here is my setup:

      general setup.jpg failover group.jpg

It seems to be working overall; if I disconnect the first WAN (192.168.3.1), the second WAN gateway takes over after a little while. However, when the "main" WAN gateway gets back to work, the dafault gateway still sticks with WAN2 as you can see in the third image above; it doesn't switch back to WAN1 as I expected.

Is there still something I failed to set up? Is there a way to check which gateway is actually being used?

UPDATE: It switches eventually, but it takes a lot of time. Why?

      Thanks

Nope. I don't know why it switches to default gateway (WAN1) only sometimes. I had to disabled/enabled WAN1 to make it switch to WAN1 at once.

It seems that it can't be fix at the moment. Other people stumbled upon the same problem.
