      I would like to try something and need to rebuild the iso image afterwards. I might be missing it but I do not see any instructions for building, is it written somewhere ? I see the build.sh script and figured out build.conf file etc. and started the build but it fails at building crypto tools now. I think the crypto tools are under a private (?) repo called gnid. What shall I do ? Is it possible to re-build the iso ?

      (I am very familiar with Linux environment but not with FreeBSD)

        or can I just rebuild a kernel outside and replace the kernel on a running pfSense ? I would like to disable ALTQ
