(02) two gateway with same IP Address
-
Hello,
recently my ISP change our router for the new GPON nokia
These ISP router are provided only by restricted username userAdmin ( not full admin )
this restricted username can not provide any possibility of changing LAN IP Address of the router.
My goal is to connect (02) two isp routers with my netgate 4100
is it any possibility even if i connect in separate interface this (02) two ISP routers ?
thank you per advance for your help

@bkalem Are you sure those IP's are the real one's your ISP will be providing? Normally (assuming CG-NAT) you would get an IP from the Reserved range (100.64.something). And it would be unlikely that they were using overlapping ranges...
Could it be temporary while things are being set up?
Anyway I'd call them up to check what they are doing.

@gblenn Thank you for your quick reply :)
yes, i am talking about LOCAL IP address of router.
Public IP Address of router are deployed dynamicly and not static.
i can use this ISP routers in my LAN by using the private IP address and ISP router will NAT to the dynamic public ip address changed every 24hours
so yes, both ISP router have the same local private ip address 192.168.0.1 and with the restricted username userAdmin no chance to change subnet of local network
any solution to use both ISP routers with the same ip address in netgate 4100 in two different interace ?

@bkalem I can't see how that could work like you have depicted actually. Since pfsense would not be able to discern between the two gateways.
One possible solution could be to add another NAT in front of just one of the netgate interfaces. You could then set it to an IP of your choice, like 10.10.n.n which makes it visibly different in the pfsense dashboard. And I would set up that router to place pfsense in the DMZ.

Did it work fine previously ?
Is this for home or buisness, if it's the latter I'd go back to O2 and ask them to change the second router address to 192.168.1.1.
Having dealt a lot with O2 previously, they are a bit clueless.
Otherwise go with a different ISP for the second link.
