      I have the following architecture:

      96401b2e-7949-4897-a63a-8585332f3950-image.png

Also pictured is an RA sent by Router2 as seen by a PC on the fd04:2240::/48 segment.

I would expect to see the fdee:ea52:aab1:1::/64 route in Diagnostics/Routes but I don't. It seem that the Netgate 6100 is not adding the advertised Router2 route.

This is a problem for example when Client1 tries to do a DNS lookup on the Netgate 6100 pfsense it not able to reply.

In fact I don't even see the RA on the Netgate 6100 packet capture.

Any idea what could be happening?

The Netgate 6100 interface on the fd04:2240::/48 segment has the following flags:

        nd6 options=21<PERFORMNUD,AUTO_LINKLOCAL>

I did a bit of research and I think the following might solve the issue:

        ifconfig inet6 accept_rtadv

It's a production setup so I'm reluctant to try it.

Does adding the accept_rtadv make sense?
