Network data from burglars?
-
One of our stores was burglarized last night. I've been asked to see if anything showed up on the network during their visit. There's nothing in the dhcp logs, but I wouldn't expect there to be because the wifi is password protected.
Would a Netgate SG-2100 or a ubiquiti UAP-AC-Lite record anything else from our after hours visitors? -
Probably not. If you know when it happened check the logs and the monitoring graphs. If there was any traffic or disconnects it will show there.

I doubt they would of tried to connect to your wifi - but if your running the controller, you might have seen them as neighboring access point. If they had hotspot on their phone(s) left on..
You can view that under insights on the controller.

@rcalhoun It's time to have cameras with microphone as well as in-store cellphone repeaters...make the strategic suggestion, will you?

@rcalhoun If your store has any devices that use Bluetooth, they might record the Bluetooth MAC addresses of the burglars' phones, if they had them (likely) and had Bluetooth enabled (almost certainly).
