      Hi,

i have an issue with my pfsense. On my production pfsense i gain 15ms latency ( 21-22ms total) to google for example.
With a clean installed pfsense on intel nuc i have only totaly 5-6ms to google.

How can i find out why?

Reinstalling and restoring the config doesnt change anything.
I have lot of rules on the VLANS. (10 vlans and maybe 15 Rules per vlan), maybe thats the issue?

@masterg More likely you are using a package that can introduce latency due to capturing and analyzing packets. NtopNG is know for adding quite a few ms extra latency in average - especially if you are using an older/slower CPU/Memory combination.

Love the no fuss of using the official appliances :-)

          @keyser i dont use NtopNG

          My current installed packages:
acme, cron, haproxy, openvpn, pfBlockerNG, snort, wireguard, zabbixagent

          My current machine:
          Supermicro Server 1HE
          Intel(R) Xeon(R) D-2123IT
          16GB DDR4
          Intel SSD

          2 different ISP WAN Interfaces
I have Failover Gateway Groups (trigger: Member down)

          Update:
When my primary WAN is going down, the problem disapears.
If the primary is again enabled it gains 15ms...
