I hit confirm, and the GUI just hangs (no error message)

I am going to assume this is a server side issue, and try again in a day or so

I am seeing several similar posts on the forum this morning. I would guess there is a backend server issue on the Netgate side.

Having a huge user base is both a blessing and a curse. It's a blessing to be one of the most popular firewall distros around, but it's a curse at "upgrade" time when thousands upon thousands of adoring users hit the upgrade server infrastructure at nearly the same time 🙂.

I had the exact same error! Command line worked but GUI wasn't for installs, removals, or reinstalls. Reverted back to 22.05 and was going to try upgrading again this morning. Now I get an error when checking for upgrades.

There we go, all better now! Just unistalled pfBlockerng-devel, and installed good old pfBlockerng...

@nedyah700 Just successfully uninstalled/reinstalled pfblockerNG, so it looks like issues with app packages are resolved

@pdavis Same! I re-upgraded and didn't have the package issue again. I was also having the "Your device has not been registered for pfSense+" error message which I resolved as well. I don't think they were related but sharing just in case.
