getting an error "Alternate hostname is not a valid hostname."
-
Hi I'm getting the error "Alternate hostname is not a valid hostname." when trying to enabling the SSH admin access in the System / Advanced / Admin Access section, but don't see any place for a valid hostname. Where is this error coming from and how to fix it?
This is running on a Netgate 4100 version 23.01-RELEASE

@lludwig so you click this checkbox
And where exactly do you see this error? If you scroll up a bit you see this box
Do you have something in there? If so what?
-
@johnpoz Yes I did, and I get it at the top of the page.
"The following input errors were detected:
Alternate hostname is not a valid hostname."
-
@lludwig and what do you have in the box "alternate hostnames" is it blank? Maybe there is a space in it?
-
@lludwig I found it. For some reason, that field had 192.168.1.1 in it.
-
@lludwig no that wouldn't be a valid hostname ;)
Maybe a autofill from some browser addon?

@johnpoz No it's not that not sure how that got there.
