Download speeds cut in half. Was running a build from like Nov and had no issues. Updated to a a Feb build and notice my download speeds was cut in half. Had some time tonight to play around and did a clean install of 2.7 with the 2/15 build and still wasn't getting full speeds. Went ahead and did a clean install of 2.6 and restored my back up and seeing my full download speed.

Half of what? What is full speed? What are you getting now? How was it tested?

Was the November build you were on before based on FreeBSD 14 or was that before the OS change? The switchover was around then.

Development snapshots currently have debugging enabled. For most people the performance hit isn't that noticeable but if you are trying to push large volumes of traffic it may not be able to keep up. But the specifics of "large volumes" varies by hardware/workload/etc.

I have 1gb down and I was only getting 500. Was using speedtest.net desktop app.

I'm pretty sure the Nov build was before FreeBSD 14.

No slow down here with 2.7. Speeds impressive and hanging in the 1.2-1.5 range on my Comcast multigig ISP.
