      Hello,
      Is it possible to gain access remotely, In case of a failed restart after an update/upgrade, where the OS is asking for user intervention to do some configuration in order to continue to load pfSense?

        @najm You can try https://pikvm.org/

        This video shows how it works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=232opnNPGNo

        Never tried but I'll probably try will any time soon.

        dead on arrival, nowhere to be found.

          @najm Remotely as in you’re not there? If you had an HA setup then Internet would still work, otherwise…

          Unless something went catastrophically wrong it shouldn’t be asking for anything though.

          Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
          When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.
