I'm looking at adding the Belkin F5D8001 which is a 802.11n adapter.  I understand that there are currently no drivers for the 802.11n technology, but if I was to purchase this card and install it, could I used it as just a 802.11g adapter until the support is added with FreeBSD 8?

The problem is there are no divers for 802.11n cards, not for the draft standard. The card would not be recognized at all, not even as 802.11g, without a driver.

Check the FreeBSD Hardware Compatibility List for 7.2, cards listed there will be supported by pfSense 1.2.3

Okay, thank you.  Also, I have disabled uPnp except for 3 specific IP's, but I had some uPnp's added from an IP that was not on the list or atleast it was showing in the uPnp status.  Does that mean it was added?  If so, why, cause it should have been denied.

If it showed up, something on your network added it. That's a subject for a new thread, however.
