      I have a setup where I have 2 WANS, one with a static address, and one with only a dynamic address available.  Form reading the docs, it seemed like load balancing and failover was possible with one or more interfaces that are dynamic.

      However, when I tried to configure this (on version 1.2.2), I found that the interfaces will only appear in the selector in the Load Balancing dialog if they have been configured as static.  Is there something I am doing wrong?

      I'm going to try 1.2.3RC1 to see if that behaves differently, but I would appreciate it if someone could tell me if this is supposed to work or not.

      Thanks

        I've one short question about the use of a dynamic IP on the WAN site.

        I've used this doc: http://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Multi-WAN_Version_1.2.x

        In the firewall rules the second rules contains
        network:192.168.0.0 / 24

        What is the right setting when u have a dynamic IP address on the WAN interface?

          None of the rules depend on anything about the WAN configuration, you don't need to change them.

            But I don't have a 192.168.0.x network.

            WAN1 = 213.101.x.x (dynamic, modem ISP1)
            OPT1 = 172.16.0.x (static, router ISP2)
            LAN = 192.168.100.x

            What is the destination value of DMZ1?

              Are you even using a DMZ? You need to adjust the various rules and so-on that are in the tutorials to match your own addresses if you're not going to use the ones in the example.
