I checked this article on health of emmc memory for my Netgate 1100. https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/troubleshooting/disk-lifetime.html

      When using command
      mmc extcsd read /dev/mmcsd0rpmb | egrep 'LIFE|EOL'
      there is no output.
      Please advise next steps.

Try it without the grep. I don't have an 1100 but there's probably nothing matched:

        mmc extcsd read /dev/mmcsd0rpmb

To upgrade, select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to reboot, or more depending on packages, CPU, and/or disk speed.

There is a lot of info but no mention of eol or life. I have zfs so is that a difference from the doc?
          Thanks

@applesalwaysred Hmm I have ZFS on my 2100:

            eMMC Firmware Version: 73103517
            eMMC Life Time Estimation A [EXT_CSD_DEVICE_LIFE_TIME_EST_TYP_A]: 0x01
            eMMC Life Time Estimation B [EXT_CSD_DEVICE_LIFE_TIME_EST_TYP_B]: 0x01
eMMC Pre EOL information [EXT_CSD_PRE_EOL_INFO]: 0x01
            Secure Removal Type [SECURE_REMOVAL_TYPE]: 0x08

The doc says “Not all disks support all of these fields.” Maybe the 1100 doesn’t?

To upgrade, select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to reboot, or more depending on packages, CPU, and/or disk speed.

Yes, some 1100s don't have eMMC that supports reading that data.
