      Hello,
      I've had to "adjust" the XML configuration of pfsense before to migrate a VM from vmware to KVM (minimal adjustments to NICs).
      But now I should transport the configuration of several Netgate 7100s to as many 8200s that will replace them.
      If I import the 7100 configuration into the 8200 what happens ? Is it expected, do I have to make adjustments ? Is it possible ?

        @luca-de-andreis When you restore the config pfSense will prompt you to assign interfaces, before rebooting.

        Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
        When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.

          Ok perfect...

          I would like to keep all the configuration of ACLs, VPN, etc. redoing everything by hand, besides the waste of time would definitely cause errors.
