Not getting Mod_Security+Apache+Proxy working

Is this working for anyone, i´m not getting anything in the logs
I have a normal portforward 80 to a internal ip since before, should i change anything before the reverse proxy gets running.
obviusly have configured a site for that

i´m i missing the point of mod_sercurity?
why should i have to run ssl, if i have several vhosts i only get the primary protected.so this doesent work with port 80?

not getting anything in logs for modsec
should nat/rules be disabled towards the http server(port 80)this is all i see in the logs

Did you found another working solution?

removed the webserver box and installed ClearOS and running on that now (mail,web,sql,fileshare) one less server running also.
