      Hi,
I have a few questions about schedules in pfsense. My pfsense version is 23.01-RELEASE running on a Netgate 2100.

We need to set a weekly schedule (by weekdays) where the period passes midnight. I.e. that a rule should block traffic from 0500pm in the evening to 0600pm the following morning from Sunday night and repeat until Thursday night (covering all nights before workdays).

First, in the GUI the schedule editor implies a monthly calendar, I don't want to assign my schedule to a specific month. How do I just add a general weekly calendar being active from now until 'forever'?

Having schedules run past midnight to the following date is often challenging. How do I define the above schedule in pfsense using the GUI or in CLI?

At the moment the schedule should start blocking traffic, does it immediately kill all ongoing sessions and if not, how can I have all sessions killed or traffic actually stopped at the moment the schedule (block rule) becomes active..?

Thanks a lot for help on this.
