I upgraded from 2.7.0 Devel 230322 to 23.01. No issues with the upgrade process (much to my surprise).

One of the reasons that I wanted to upgrade was to get Boot Environments. However, even though I installed with ZFS the Boot Environments menu option shows that boot environments is not available with my install.

Is this a bug in the upgrade process or is there something else I need to do to enable this?

I reinstalled 2.7.0 Devel and will live on the bleeding edge a bit longer while I wait for some discussion on this.

@patryan Check "System > Update > Update Settings > Boot Environments" setting.
