    Hi,
I just had fixed the no packages found error with infos in this topic. Packages are now showing again but installing them fails (tried 2 different ones) with this error:

WARNING: Current pkg repository has a new PHP major
version. pfSense should be upgraded before
             installing any new package.

I'm on the stable update channel of 23.01 and the GUI says I'm up to date. The CLI tells me php 8.2.3 is installed while pfBlockerNG only requires php 8.1.11.

@chrisnz Did you upgrade from 2.7 dev (PHP 8.2) to 23.01 (8.1)? I don’t have a reference thread but I believe I’ve read recent posts that it was necessary to start from a 2.7 version from mid February before they moved 2.7 to 8.2.

Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.

@chrisnz like @SteveITS indicated a clean install of the Feb 15th snapshot then upgrading to 23.01 will fix the PHP issue.
