      Hi all,

      FWIW, I am a newb, although I have setup a CE box for myself, however the 1100 is different. The 1100 is for my parents, reliability is paramount.

      I've been working through this on/off for a couple weeks.

      I get it turned on, log on to GUI, complete wizard, 1100 seems to have internet connection from the dashboard. It has a WAN ip, I can download packages, ping 8.8.8.8 from GUI, resolve from GUI ...... all seems good. To check that client has internet (yet to have internet icon), I click on a random help "?" from the pfsense GUI. I get DNS address could not be found.

      I've tried so many settings and done so much searching and video watching. At one point I did have clients able to ping the net. At this point I'd rather of just copied my CE box.

        @lerqakass Your Netgate appliance comes with TAC-Lite which includes:

        "Zero-to-Ping - We’ll help get your Netgate appliance, AWS, or Azure firewall connected to the Internet and one client on the same network online."

        You can open a ticket for this.

            @lerqakass

            I have used videos from Lawrence systems on youtube to understand the unique issues around the SG-1100.

            It's a great unit that I keep around as a backup router.
