@stephenw10 asked me to post here to ask for upvotes as a way of working around the SPAM block. I posted a message and immediately edited it to revise its subject but the forum software blocked the change as SPAM.

Thanks for the Upvotes... seems to have worked, post subject has been updated.
Optional info if you are interested or tracking this: I could not edit the post after only 1 Upvote, but could edit it after either 2 or 3 Upvotes... I saw 2 Upvotes, successfully edited the post, came back here, saw 3 Upvotes... so it was 2 or 3 Upvotes that allowed the edit.

same thing here. I sign up to try to get help with an issue and cannot post the question/issue because too many people post spam so in order to get actual help you need to do a bunch of unrelated crap to be upvoted so you are not seem as so Bot that is posting random crap.
So hopefully posting this will help me be able to post the actual question about the actual issue i have.

Unfortunately the alternative is an uncontrollable volume of spam.
If you post again we can upvote that too to reach 5 quicker.

@ewong3 your IP has reports of spam last few days using multiple email address.. Your issue is more than likely not related to your rep points.
New user coming from a well known spammer country, using a email address known for spam as well. And actively listed as a spammer on at least 1 well known reporting site.. Yeah your problem is not lack of rep points.

@johnpoz oh... is it possible to reset that status? also had to re-register too as my acc didn't seem to be getting password reset email anymore a few minutes ago...

i think there is a problem of cambodia being prejudiced against (given it is one of several SEA countries where scams happen), but it is surprising that my email is also tagged spam/scam which is most depressing...
i hope there is an appeal mechanism somewhere...
