      Hello everyone,
      I have a task of migrate a VM to an appliance, however the VM still holding version 2.4.4 and Im trying to restore under 2.6.

      When I restore ALL, it gets stuck on the boot as:

      em0: link state changed to UP
      em5: link state changed to UP
      em1: link state changed to UP

      I waited around 20/30 mins and nothing happened. Shall I wait more than that?

      I reinstall from zero and I did partial restores of sections, however I couldn't import the certificates, and the OpenVPN wouldnt work. Is there a way to restore or test this?

        That's what you will see if the primary console is set to the console you're not using.

        So if the VM was using the VGA console console as primary and the hardware has a serial console. You see only the messages that are written to all consoles, which includes NIC link changes. It's probably waiting for you to re-assign the interfaces at the other console.

        You can force it to boot using the console you are using:
