      New to pfSense and have a config question.

      On the Static DHCP Mapping page (Services | DHCP Server | LAN1 | Edit Static Mapping), there is a field for Client Identifier.
      The documentation states "An ID sent by the client to identify itself as per RFC 2132".
      Is it ok to leave this field blank (default)?

        Yes, you can leave that empty. The DHCP server doesn't require that.
