No routing/dns when using vip lan

Hi.

I have a setup with two nodes of pfsense on esxi (lab).

Everything syncs fine and under "carp failover" i have one as master and one as backup.

my vip ip is 192.168.1.1

master host is on 192.168.1.2

backup host is on 192.168.1.3

If I set static ip on my pc and specifiy my gateway and dns as 192.168.1.2 or 192.168.1.3 my internet works.

But if i´m on dhcp and I get dns and gateway 192.168.1.1 from dhcp server internet doesnt work.

Have I missed something special I must do with dns ?

Hi again.

Enabled promiscuous mode in esxi and now it works.
