      Hi,
Please I need advice or recommendations for a pfsense installation. It is for an open event with over 10,000 people. I want to set up free but controlled wifi for 4000 concurrent users with limited bandwidth and blocks for things like torrent or streaming. Just for users to be able to do needful browsing and social communication. ISP is going to give me 2 STM1 connections.

      Thank you in advance.

          So ~300Mbps total?

Almost any hardware running pfSense would handle that. You might have a very large number of states with that number of users even if they don;t get much bandwidth so you would want a reasonable amount of ram.
