running 2.6.0-RELEASE on a LIVA Z device. modem is a brand new Arris SB8200. both ethernet cables tested, no issue.

WAN is set to DHCP, IPv6 disabled. static LAN interface, 2 ports forwarded, one of which is monitored, screenshot below. i called my ISP and they did not show any issues on their end.

i frequently experience disconnections, most of the time in series. the GUI is inaccessible after it goes down, despite the device responding to ping. if i'm already signed in while it goes down, my WAN interface goes between up and down, every 10 seconds or so. 0.0.0.0 IP address, fails to assign itself my IP. manually assigning my WAN IP fails to bring any devices online when using IP and correct netmask. unplugging both ethernet cables does not fix, it requires physically unplugging the device and rebooting.

i can generate logs during the outages, but unsure how to interpret them or which logs would provide the most information.

here is a screenshot of my server monitor from just today. it can be stable for several days, then

please let me know which information to provide in order to narrow down what is happening.

@jchrist4307 sounds like potentially a problem with your nics, you should ensure you're running the latest drivers for the Realtek nics in that system.

@cappie thank you for the reply. i have updated the drivers and rebooted, appears the interfaces were updated successfully. i'll continue to monitor the status over the weekend
