      Hello Everyone,

I am new to Pfsense and also NOT a network pro just someone who likes tech and to figure things out :)

I managed to install PFsense to an i5 intel box and I wanted to keep my pihole for blocking adverts and other crap from the internet etc..

However I am not quite sure what is the best way to configure Pfsense to work with Pi Hole. I found 2 different guides on the internet..

Guide 1 - added the Pi Hole static IP as DNS Server in PFsense via System > General Set Up Route, then went to Services > DNS Forwarder and Enable DNS Forwarder.

Guide 2 - added the Pi Hole static IP as DNS Server in PFsense via Services > DHCP Server / LAN and added Pi Hole Static IP as DNS.

both guides have no dates so I am not sure which is the best way and hoping someone can point me to the right direction.

      Thanks in advance.
